Gold Rush isn’t your average gadget review site—it’s a no-nonsense, hands-on crash course in what actually works (and what doesn’t) in the real world. Launched in 2016, we’ve spent years tearing apart hardware, benchmarking like it’s our job (because it is), and refusing to let press samples or spec sheets dictate our opinions. Here’s how we stay honest, even when the ads and sponsors try to blur the lines.

  • No fake praise: We’re Amazon Associates, Best Buy Affiliates, and Newegg Partners—yes, we earn commissions—but our reviews aren’t paid for. Ever.
  • Real-world stress tests: We don’t coddle gadgets. If a phone dies after 24 hours of streaming, or a GPU overheats during a 14-hour gaming marathon, you’ll know. No sugarcoating.
  • No spec-sheet summaries: We don’t care about “impressive” benchmarks if they don’t hold up under scrutiny. Every review is stress-tested against actual use cases, not theoretical limits.
  • Raw HTML, no fluff: Our site runs on raw HTML—no bloated frameworks, no sponsored content sliders. Just unfiltered opinions and data.
  • Sponsorships? We’ll call them out: If a brand pays for a feature, it’s clearly labeled. We don’t hide behind “sponsored content” euphemisms—transparency is non-negotiable.
